On June 20, HSE University begins accepting applications for the new Bachelor's Programme in Technology Innovation Management at the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The programme aims to train specialists capable of managing technology projects at every stage, from testing ideas and validating hypotheses to implementing solutions and bringing products to market.
Students of the HSE University Faculty of Computer Science continue their winning streak at various sports programming competitions. They secured three first-place finishes and other accolades at events held in the spring of 2026.
At the end of May, HSE University in Moscow received a delegation from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp, Brazil), which has held a strong, long-standing partnership with HSE. The meeting in Moscow took place as part of the International Partner Week, which was held from May 19 to 22 by HSE University–St Petersburg. The second Indo-Russian Education Summit (IRES 2026) took place in New Delhi on May 28–29. This year, the event brought together more than 70 leading Russian and Indian universities. Forbes Education has published its ranking of the top 20 Russian universities with the strongest reputations among employers. As in recent years, HSE University secured first place with a reputation index of 98 points. In addition, 67.2% of employers stated that they trust the quality of education provided by HSE University, an increase of three percentage points compared with last year.

In 2026, the HSE Faculty of Computer Science opens its new Bachelor’s Programme ‘Design of Intelligent Robotic Systems’ (DIRS). In Moscow, HSE University’s leadership met with a delegation from Peking University headed by its President, Gong Qihuang. During the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen partnership between the two universities within the framework of the Cross Years of Russian–Chinese Cooperation in Education (2026–2027).
The VI Open Mathematical Olympiad for University Students (OMOUS-2026) was held in Ashgabat, bringing together teams from Russia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, the Netherlands, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, and the UAE. Around 600 students took part in the competition.
