On April 10, the annual Career Marathon organised by the HSE Career Development Centre took place in the atrium of the HSE University building on Pokrovsky Bulvar. The event was held both on site and online. Students of various fields from both HSE and other universities took part in the event to broaden their career outlook and establish contacts with potential employers.
On April 1, 2025, the HSE School of Foreign Languages celebrated its first anniversary. Over the year, the school has managed to implement innovative projects, create in-demand products, and set new trends. The article highlights the school’s main achievements.
The development and implementation of the project took almost a year. Several planning solutions were proposed and the optimal one was selected quickly. The main tasks to be solved included various scenarios for space utilisation, acoustic comfort, and modern multimedia equipment.
The New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre hosted the fifth annual CIBA conference, organised by professors and students of the Master's programme 'Arts and Culture Management' at HSE University-St Petersburg. The ViSaver project—a service for instant in-video search, generating time codes, summaries, and test questions based on video content—made it into the top ten of the ‘I Create Business’ competition track at this year's StudFest International Student Entrepreneurship Festival. A team of students from the Bachelor’s programme ’Asian and African Studies’ at the HSE Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs—the only team from Russia—has won first prize at the European Universities Arabic Debating Championship (EUADC) (a QatarDebate regional championship), beating other teams from non-Arabic-speaking countries.
