HSE University and the Russian House in Indonesia have held the first offline INTO HSE olympiad in Jakarta. It is a new, free event in English for international school students.

In 2025, HSE University-St Petersburg opened the Centre for Russian Language and Culture at the School of Arts and Humanities. The centre offers various courses for international applicants, the largest of which is the 'Pre-University Programme', a Russian preparatory course for those intending to enrol in full-time bachelor's and master's programmes. In the framework of the academic mission to Latin America, HSE University-St Petersburg has negotiated to launch joint projects with leading Brazilian universities. Thus, with the University of São Paulo, the first in the QS ranking among Brazilian universities, HSE plans to carry out joint research aimed at supporting biodiversity, developing biotechnologies and solving ecological and social issues. The project also involves students and staff mobility for mutual exchange of knowledge and experience.

On September 23, in the Russian House in Jakarta, the delegation from HSE University-St Petersburg headed by the director Anna Tyshetskaya introduced Indonesian school students and their parents to the educational programmes at the university and opportunities of studies in Russia.

HSE University-St Petersburg and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) have opened a mirror laboratory in the sphere of social entrepreneurship. The opening ceremony of the Russian part of this laboratory took place in the framework of the International Partners' Days which gathered delegations from 23 foreign universities.

In the framework of a major academic mission to Latin America, a delegation from HSE University visited the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), a Brazilian higher education institution and analytical centre for training specialists in administration. Representatives of FGV have expressed their interest in signing a cooperation agreement in the spheres of media communications and game theory.

During a visit to the Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) by a HSE University-St Petersburg delegation led by campus Director Anna Tyshetskaya, the two universities agreed to create a mirror laboratory in the sphere of environmental behaviour, social well-being, and responsibility management.
